Ruffle Bangle Bracelet
basic pattern
Materials
~any worsted weight yarn (I used Red Heart in color Mexicana)
~size H crochet hook
~one thin bangle bracelet
Pattern
1) Put a slip knot on the hook leaving a 4 inch tail
2) Insert hook through the center of the bracelet and yarn over (2 loops on hook)
3) Putting hook over the outside of the bracelet yarn over and pull through both of the loops on the hook (first single crochet (SC) made)
4) Continue making single crochets around the bracelet until the whole bracelet is covered. (a stack of bracelets just like this looks cute too)
5) Join to first SC with a slip stitch (SL) to do this insert hook in the first SC and yarn over. Pull that loop through the SC and through the one loop on the hook as well. Now yarn over and pull that loop through the one loop on the hook.
6) Now Chain 3
7) Repeat steps 5 and 6 for every stitch on the bracelet. It will start to look like a ruffle after about 10 stitches so don’t panic if it doesn’t look like anything at first :0)
8) When you get back to the beginning cut the yarn and pull through the last loop on the hook this makes a knot. Now just tie the two tail together in a knot and trim off. Viola your own ruffled bracelet!
